Acceptable use policy

The rules for using VerifyAnyEmail responsibly and lawfully.

By using VerifyAnyEmail you agree to this policy in addition to our terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.

You may

  • Verify email addresses you have a lawful basis to process — your own sign-ups, customers, or lists you own or are authorised to clean.
  • Use the diagnostic tools to inspect domains and infrastructure you operate or are authorised to assess.
  • Integrate the API into your own applications and workflows.

You must not

  • Send spam or use verification to enable unsolicited bulk email.
  • Verify lists you have no right to process, or harvest/enrich personal data unlawfully.
  • Use the SMTP or diagnostic tools to attack, overload, port-scan or probe systems you don’t control.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas or authentication, or resell the raw service as your own without authorisation.
  • Use the service for anything illegal, or to violate others’ privacy or security.

List ownership & privacy

You are the controller of the personal data you submit; we act as a processor to return verification results. You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to verify each address and for honouring opt-outs. See data retention and the privacy policy.

Reporting & enforcement

Report abuse to abuse@verifyany.email. We investigate reports and may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests. We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here.
