About Passive Spam Block List (PSBL)

Why an IP gets listed

  • A PSBL spam trap received email from the IP.

How to delist from Passive Spam Block List (PSBL)

  1. 1Stop whatever sent to the trap (compromised account, bad list, misconfigured script).

  3. 3Note: if a trap sees mail from the IP again, it will simply re-list, so fix the source first.

Before you request removal: fix the root cause first — delisting while the problem persists almost always leads to a fast re-listing. Confirm the IP has valid reverse DNS, and that your SPF, DKIM and DMARC are in order.
