About SpamRats ALL
SpamRats bundles three sub-lists. It only matters if you actually run a mail server; the most common causes are missing or generic reverse DNS. Look the IP up to see which sub-list applies, then follow that fix.
Why an IP gets listed
- RATS-NoPtr — the IP has no reverse DNS.
- RATS-Dyna — the rDNS looks dynamic/auto-generated.
- RATS-Spam — the IP was seen spamming SpamRats systems.
How to delist from SpamRats ALL
- 1Look the IP up at spamrats.com/lookup.php to see the exact sub-list.
- 2Set proper static reverse DNS (fixes NoPtr and most Dyna listings).
- 3For RATS-Spam, stop the spam first.
- 4Use the self-service removal on the lookup result; if it’s not offered, use the Contact page for manual review.
Before you request removal: fix the root cause first — delisting while the problem persists almost always leads to a fast re-listing. Confirm the IP has valid reverse DNS, and that your SPF, DKIM and DMARC are in order.
