About UCEPROTECT Level 1

Level 1 lists individual IPs that hit UCEPROTECT’s traps. It’s the only UCEPROTECT level tied to your own IP’s behaviour, and it clears on its own if you simply stop the spam and wait.

Why an IP gets listed

  • The IP sent mail to a UCEPROTECT spam-trap address.
  • A compromised host or bad list triggered a trap hit.

How to delist from UCEPROTECT Level 1

  1. 1Stop the spam source and clean your recipient lists.
  2. 2Wait — Level 1 entries expire automatically about 7 days after the last trap hit.
  3. 3If you can’t wait, UCEPROTECT offers a paid express delisting (whitelisting) for the IP via their removal page.

Stay off UCEPROTECT Level 1

  • Never send to purchased lists; trap hits re-list you and reset the timer.
Before you request removal: fix the root cause first — delisting while the problem persists almost always leads to a fast re-listing. Confirm the IP has valid reverse DNS, and that your SPF, DKIM and DMARC are in order.
