About UCEPROTECT Level 2
Level 2 doesn’t list your IP for its own behaviour — it lists a whole allocation once too many IPs in it are on Level 1. That makes it largely your hosting provider’s problem, and many mail operators treat L2 cautiously.
Why an IP gets listed
- Your IP sits in a network block where many other IPs are Level 1 listed.
How to delist from UCEPROTECT Level 2
- 1Recognise this is a network-wide listing, not a verdict on your IP alone.
- 2Ask your hosting provider/ISP to clean up abuse across the allocation — that’s what clears Level 2.
- 3For an individual urgent fix, UCEPROTECT’s paid express delisting can whitelist your specific IP.
Before you request removal: fix the root cause first — delisting while the problem persists almost always leads to a fast re-listing. Confirm the IP has valid reverse DNS, and that your SPF, DKIM and DMARC are in order.
